For sale is a beautiful 1977 GMC K15 Sierra Grande 4x4. This is a factory short bed pickup with its numbers matching TLS suffix code 400 cubic inch V8. This truck was restored in 1998 by a family member of the original owner. The truck received a full repaint and overhaul of the drivetrain at that time. The odometer was reset in 1998 after completion of the overhaul and reads 57,520 miles today. In December of 2010, a teenager in a small Toyota pickup veered over the double yellow line and clipped the driver's front corner of the truck, damaging the hood, core support and driver's fender. In 2010, values on these trucks were nowhere near where they are today. The insurance company estimated the market value of the truck to be around $3,400 at that time and subsequently wrote the truck off as a loss. The owner purchased the truck back from the insurance company and had the local body shop at Knudsten Chevrolet of Post Falls, Idaho repair the truck. The repairs cost a total of approximately $2,500 for the replacement of the sheet metal and paint work. The truck did not have any frame damage. The truck does hold a rebuilt title due to this incident. The interior of this truck is very nice and has been fitted with a new set of ACC carpets along with a new vinyl seat cover from LMC truck. The dash is in excellent condition with the exception of 3 small splits in the speaker perforations as shown. All of the gauges are working. The truck was equipped with factory cruise control, however it has since been removed. A retro-style AM/FM radio head unit has been installed and sounds excellent. The truck also has a new windshield installed. The dual tanks are both functional from the switch on the dash. The exterior of this truck is beautiful. The Mahogany over Buckskin paint looks great with a deep shine. The body is very straight aside from a few dings detailed in the photos below. The panel alignment is even throughout. The doors open and close with ease. The paint does have various blemishes typical of its and mileage as seen below. The body is largely rust free aside from a few blisters down low on the driver's side forward section of the bed. Detailed photos of the blemishes can be seen below. The truck is fitted with aftermarket bumper-mounted fog lamps and a Truxedo tonneau cover. This K15 runs and drives very well. The 400 V8 runs smoothly with respectable power. The transmission shifts smoothly in and out of all gears as it should. The truck is fitted with factory 15x8 rally wheels with 31x10.50x15 BFGoodrich All Terrains with approximately 60% tread.
