1997 Ford F-250 XLT

For sale is an immaculate 1997 Ford F-250 XLT 4x4. This is an extended cab, long bed, 3/4 ton pickup equipped with a 460 7.5-liter V8 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. 1997 was the final model year for this F-Series body style. This truck has remained in the Inland Northwest region between Oregon and Washington for its entire life. The truck is equipped with power windows, power locks, power driver's seat, tilt wheel, dual tanks, A/C and cruise control. The interior of this truck is in excellent condition for its age. All of the gauges are working as well as the dual tank selector switch. All of the climate control functions, power windows and door locks are working correctly. The seats are in excellent original condition with the exception of some wear visible to the driver's seat bottom as shown. The carpets are very clean and show well. There is a stain beneath the rear folding bench as pictured. The headliner is very nice, however there is one small area that has begun to lose its adhesion over the passenger front seat area as shown. The dash does not have any cracking or fading areas and the vinyl dash pad is in excellent condition. The factory AM/FM cassette radio remains in the truck and has clear sound from all speakers. The exterior of this truck is beautiful. The truck is finished in Oxford White (YZ code) over a Royal Blue Metallic (LE code) center stripe. The paint has a very nice shine and does not have any fading or peeling clear coat. The truck does have its fair share of blemishes typical of its age and mileage and close-up photos of every panel can be seen in this listing. Most notably, there is a dent above the passenger taillight and some dings in the back of the cab on either side of the bed. There are some areas of chipped paint that have been touched up near the roof drip rails on either side as pictured. There appears to have been some paint work completed on the driver's side at some time, however the color match is excellent. The body is entirely rust free and the undercarriage is very dry with only minor surface rust on the frame and suspension components. This truck is fitted with a set of factory Alcoa wheels wrapped in LT235/85R16 Falken Wildpeak AT3W All Terrain tires with excellent remaining tread. Airbags have been installed with air valves located at the rear license plate mount. A new Line-X bed liner has just been installed. This truck runs and drives very well and has excellent power and torque. The transmission shifts smoothly as it should.
